# Networking

Welcome to the first event from Stripe Surat community.

This community brings together founders, developers, startup teams, business owners, and technology professionals in Surat who are building products, growing businesses, and exploring modern payments and financial infrastructure. It’s a space to share what’s working, learn from each other’s experiences, and figure things out together.

At this first meetup, we’ll introduce ourselves, set the direction for the community together, and kick off with a conversation about what everyone is building, the challenges they’re facing, and what they’d like to learn and explore through future Surat community events.

No long presentations — just a real conversation with people in Surat who are building products, solving business problems, and figuring out many of the same things you are.

Who’s it for? Founders, developers, business owners, operators, startup teams, and builders in Surat — whether you already use Stripe, are exploring the Stripe ecosystem, or simply want a peer community to learn and grow with.

We’ll get to know each other through an interactive community activity, share what we’re working on and the challenges we’d like to solve, and identify topics we want to explore together at future meetups.

We’ll then close with a tour of stripecommunity.com — where this community will live between events. We’ll also work together to define our community principles.
