Meet some Stripe Community Builders

Margot, Stripe CDMX Community

Margot hosts regular events in CDMX focused on business challenges and opportunities across LATAM.

“Being a Stripe Community Builder means building with leverage. As an AI strategist based in Mexico City, I’ve been able to create rooms where ambitious founders connect, collaborate, and grow. Over 500 people have joined our events so far.

Stripe doesn’t just fund initiatives, it backs operators with vision. If you’re serious about building something meaningful, this is where you want to be.”

Sean hosts monthly livestreams on YouTube for web designers building sustainable businesses, each featuring a guest speaker.

Sean, Stripe Web Designers Community

“Being a Stripe Community Builder gave me permission to create the kind of space I wish existed when I started: a place for web designers building sustainable businesses.

Through the Stripe for Web Designers community, we bring people together from around the world to talk about both design and the business of design. Because while design is the craft, building a sustainable design business is an art of its own. With Stripe’s support, we’re building a community where designers can connect, build, and grow together.”

Ami, Stripe NYC Community

Ami hosts monthly Stripe Cafes, inviting founders to free coworking days built around a theme, such as AI.

"Being a Stripe Community Builder means being part of something bigger than your own four walls — a global network of people who actually care about entrepreneurs and the people building alongside them.

You get real resources, real support, and the freedom to host events that mean something to you and your community. So it's not just a logo slap or a sales promotion. I've worked with hundreds of brands over the past few years, and no team has shown up the way Stripe's community team does — with the kind of warmth and intentionality that makes you feel like what you're building actually matters to them too. That's rare. And it shows in the room every time."

Elizabeth hosts a monthly Money Talks virtual event series to help wedding planners navigate pricing strategies, fraud protection, and business growth.

Elizabeth, Stripe Wedding Planners Community

“Being able to connect with other business owners building on Stripe has been incredibly valuable. From access to thoughtful speakers to tangible support for hosting events, the resources available make a real difference.

It’s shifted the relationship from Stripe simply being an integration running quietly in the background to truly feeling like a partner alongside us, invested in our growth and community.”

Frequently asked questions

I have my own established community and would love to partner with Stripe. Is this the right program for me?

No—this is not a sponsorship or partnership program for existing communities. This program is designed for Stripe Community Builders to host community events (at least 4 annually) and moderate discussion within stripecommunity.com.

How do I become a Stripe Community Builder?

Our team will review your application and schedule a call if it seems like a good fit. You'll then be prompted to sign an NDA, and complete an onboarding course to help you build your community and plan your first event.

Do the community events have to be strictly about Stripe products?

No—your events do not have to be explicitly about Stripe. We encourage you to cover any topic valuable to your community. Some of the most successful Stripe Community events are monthly co-working or networking events focused on new technologies and the future of commerce. When relevant, we can help you find Stripe speakers to present about Stripe products and related topics.

Can I bring a co-founder or collaborator to help me with my community?

Yes—we call those people co-builders, and they’re encouraged to help make your role more sustainable. If your collaborator needs access to the exclusive Builders Slack channel and weekly office hours, or if they’ll be hosting events without you, they must go through the formal vetting process and sign an NDA. We require this because Stripe Community Builders are individuals, not companies.
