Stripe Community engagement guidelines
Building the future of the internet economy together.
The Stripe Community’s mission is to bring the people behind ambitious businesses together to shape the future of the internet economy. These engagement guidelines help us keep the community safe, welcoming, and productive for members around the world.
Community values
Our values should inspire your conversations and connections with fellow members.
Embrace the future. Don’t fear change—lean into it. Whether it's AI, new commerce models, or emerging technologies, we explore what's next together and help each other make sense of it.
Leave no business behind. Collaborate to make sure businesses of every size and stage can take advantage of new ideas and technologies. The future of commerce should be accessible to everyone.
Be transparent. Share real experiences—breakthroughs and setbacks alike—so others can learn and adapt faster. Use your own words, not an AI-generated output.
Welcome new perspectives. Recognize that there are many paths to building a successful business. Diverse approaches are valuable, from time-tested methods to experimental models.
Focus on solutions.
Emphasize constructive approaches and forward-thinking strategies rather than dwelling on problems.
Respect community leadership. Treat Stripe Community Builders with respect: they volunteer their time to create valuable environments where everyone can thrive.
