Welcome to the Singapore Stripe community.
This community brings together engineers, designers, product builders, startup founders, open source developers and new developers to share what is working, learn from one another and build meaningful connections.
At this meetup, we will explore “Beyond Payments: Building Recurring Revenue with Stripe.” The session will examine how developers can help businesses move from large one time purchases towards flexible recurring revenue models.
We will work through practical examples such as websites delivered as an ongoing service, monthly memberships, professional services and software products. We will then explore how Stripe Billing, Checkout, the customer portal and webhooks can support these models.
The focus is simple: understand the business model first, then use Stripe to bring it to life.
No lengthy presentations and no formal sales pitches. Just practical insights, open conversations and plenty of time to meet developers, founders and product builders working through similar business and technical challenges.
Who is it for? Engineers, designers, product professionals, startup founders, open source contributors and anyone curious about building recurring revenue products with Stripe. All experience levels are welcome.
We will also have an informal show and tell session where participants can share what they are building. Early ideas, open challenges, questions and demonstrations are all welcome. No polished pitch is required.
We will close with a tour of stripecommunity.com and discuss future Singapore events around payments, recurring revenue, SaaS, ecommerce, marketplaces and founder operations.
