People are calling it "The Purge of app development" - the one evening a year where all the design rules go out the window and the great designers and developers of Leeds can showcase ideas that were too wild to put anywhere else.
The mission: reinvent the online shopping flow to become a truly unforgettable experience.
That's right - we're taking the humble checkout process and mixing it with unconventional design, absurd interactions, unnecessary fields & forms, cheeky copy, and silly surprises. It's got to be functional - but the rest is up to the imagination of our brave competitors!

A refreshingly human night out during Leeds Digital Festival. Come as you are, meet interesting people, and walk away inspired!
- See what happens when excellent creative and technical skills are pointed at chaos rather than conversion rates.
- Meet agency people, freelancers, designers and builders who push the limits of UI/UX.
- Watch six live demos of weird, playful and wildly unnecessary payment experiences.
- Laugh a lot, vote for your favourite and help decide who takes home the glory.
- Enjoy refreshments, because even the silliest apps deserve good snacks.
