Stripe Hyderabad community launch: Owning your worth

# Networking
Welcome to the first event from the Stripe Hyderabad Community.
This community brings together founders, operators, and small business owners across Hyderabad — from tech startups to solo and SMB founders — to share what's working, learn from each other's experiences, and figure it out together.
At this first meetup, we'll:
  • Introduce ourselves and set the direction for the community
  • Keynote — Owning Your Worth
  • Fireside chat — Worth, from both sides of the table
Most of us learn to talk about money inside a system that sets the terms. A salary band. A review cycle. Someone else's approval. Then you leave, or you start something, and suddenly there's no band and no approval — just a number you have to say out loud and mean.
LIMITED 100 SEATS
Our fireside brings together two people who have lived both sides, and priced themselves in two markets.
Rachana Doppalapudi brings the International lens — how value gets argued for inside an organisation, in the US and in India.
Praveen Dorna, founder of Founders First Network, brings the founder lens — years building companies and working with founders, and the very different math of charging for something you built yourself.
Sudharani Venna brings the Corporate Indian lens — how value gets argued for inside an organisation, in India.
We'll talk about the crossing between them: what carries over, what doesn't, and what it actually takes to name your own number.
Who is it for? Business owners, operators, and builders in Hyderabad — whether you already use Stripe, are exploring the ecosystem, or simply want a community to come back to. Come if you're pricing your work, negotiating your value, or thinking about the jump from one to the other.
We'll open with an icebreaker, then the keynote and fireside, and close with a walkthrough of stripecommunity.com — where this community lives between events. We'll also work together to define our community principles.

A keynote delivered by Shruti Agarwal, the community leader and founder of InsightNorth, built a framework to solve the exact problem of shrinking and how it can lead you to own your worth.

Community principles brainstorm

Together, we'll define what this community stands for — the values that guide how members show up for each other. The output becomes a community charter posted in discussions. Joining this event makes you a Seed member, and this is your opportunity to help define the community as a group.
