Welcome to the Fremont Stripe Community. We’ll introduce the purpose behind the community, what Build, Connect, Get Paid means, and how tonight’s activities will help us learn from one another, uncover real payment challenges, and shape what comes next.

Introductions: name, business/organization, what you’re building, and one thing you hope to get from the community.

Payments are a system—and every system has friction.

Using our interactive Payments Machine, identify where your business experiences payment challenges—from checkout and invoicing to recurring payments, fraud, reporting, fees, and reconciliation.

Add your sticky notes to the corresponding parts of the machine and discover which challenges you share with others in the room.

Find it: Where does payment friction show up in your business?

Stick it: Add your challenge to the corresponding part of the Payments Machine.

Connect: Find your “payment twin,” compare experiences, and exchange ideas on what could work better.

Surface the most common themes from the machine. Invite a few attendees to share what the friction looks like in their business and compare experiences.

Together, we'll define what this community stands for — the values that guide how members show up for each other. The output becomes a community charter posted in discussions. Joining this event makes you a Seed member, and this is your opportunity to help define the community as a group.
