Friday, 14 August, a room full of people sat down at Impact Brixton and either worked on or started building apps and tools for jobs that were eating hours out of their week. Many had never built anything before.
On Friday 4 September they show you what they made.
Brixton Community Demo Day is the second half of Build Day. Participants will present live, answer questions, and we'll win a prize (see details below).
You don't need to have built anything, or come to Build Day, or know the first thing about AI. Each participant starts by telling us where they were three weeks ago; that's part of what the judges are looking at. If you want to see what people around here actually did with this stuff, come and watch.
Why come if you didn't build anything
This is a look at real business owners and freelancers using AI. People showing a thing they made, including the parts that don't work yet. You'll leave with a clear sense of what's genuinely possible for a business your size, from people whose businesses look like yours.
And if you've been meaning to build something and haven't started, this may be the room where you find the right support and inspiration.

If you didn't come to Build Day or if your app/website isn't completely finished - that's ok! Come with it as it is. We welcome all stages of development. This demo day is meant to showcase how far you've come and the solutions you are working to fix with the help of AI.
A polished product is not a requisite for the winning prize - everyone who enters will get featured on our socials.

What is the winning prize?
The winning prize will include six months' free membership at Impact Brixton and a one-to-one go-to-market session with Gerald.
